He can explain things so that even a monkey can understand him.
He's always supportive.
He goes on fun and educational trips.
He appreciates a nice dinner.
He has a place in the city and the country (and the country place is near the beach and mountains!).
I just don't want to have a curious little monkey...a curious little boy is enough for me. Oh, and I would prefer a wardrobe with more variety.
The fact that he chooses to dress like that PROVES that he is not right in the head, which is obvious to anyone who parents.
ReplyDeleteI mean NO ONE is that patient and understanding unless they're burying bodies in the crawl space of both of their houses.
Or on some really good drugs. That's an option too.
Look - ever since the Brady Bunch when I was a kid, I thought all Americans were patient, never raised their voices and were never frustrated with their children. Mind you - the kids never seemed to do any thing wrong either... That was back in the 80s!! Now there is a man with a monkey that is just as patient???
ReplyDeleteI actually prefer the country house to the city house. It's the neighbors I think. That Bill cracks me up. I too have wondered how the country house is so very close to everything.
ReplyDeleteSad that I've pondered it. Happy that I'm not alone.
Really? You dont like the wardrobe? Because Im totally diggin' that banana hat
ReplyDeleteYou could have it made in every color. Would that be good enough?
ReplyDeleteOh geez, the man in the yellow hat irritates me. Hello. I would have gotten rid of or killed that monkey a LONG time ago. :)
ReplyDeleteI think you pretty much have to be patient if you have a monkey...not sure about all that yellow though. I do wish I was more like him too.
ReplyDeleteDon't you look good in yellow?
ReplyDeleteim always amazed at how patient he is. im an animal lover all the way but i would have strung that monkey up by now.
ReplyDeleteI do like yellow.. but not on me...
ReplyDeleteHe is patient... a little TOO patient tho.
I don't think I could ever handle being that patient unless I was on drugs of course.
He is patient, but why does he let George roam the city alone? That's just asking for trouble.
ReplyDeletethe man in the yellow hat does to seem to be pretty much perfect, except for the fact that he always leaves Curious George all by himself.
ReplyDeleteI would rather be the monkey...he has all the fun. Did you read about the time he went to the hospital?. Simply hilarious.
